Product care

Vases:
ÄNG – Eva Schildt
The brass has been varnished to be water resistant, but remember to wipe away any sap residue from the brass surface. If you leave the water in the vase for a long period without replacing it with fresh water, sap residue/particles might penetrate the varnish and the brass may become discoloured.
NOTE! Some types of plant fertilizers can affect the metal part. Wash the insert with water and non-abrasive washing detergent. It may be hard to remove sap that has penetrated the varnish – it is therefore important to make sure to immediately wipe away any plant residue. The brass insert will get patinated with time.

FANNY – Ami Katz / 3dO
The brass vase can, if necessary, be polished with brass polish. The silver vase can be polished with silver polish. The inner glass receptacle can be removed and washed with regular detergent or in the dishwasher.

SKOTT – Broberg & Ridderstråle
The brass has been varnished to be water resistant, remember to wipe away any sap residue from the brass surface. Sap residue/particles might penetrate the varnish and the brass may become discoloured. Wash the vase with water and non-abrasive washing detergent. If stains have appeared in the varnish, first use white spirit (mineral turpentine) or paint thinner (to remove the varnish) and then use brass polish. The brass then requires regular polishing.
